Part-Time Operations Administration Assistant

FosterThomas, Inc. is a leading HR Management and Consulting firm. We are seeking an Operations Assistant Administrator to assist our client out of their Washington, DC location. This is a full time, permanent position. The position is based in the Washington, DC metro area and is approved for telework during the pandemic. The client is a fast growing small business government consulting firm located in Washington, DC. We are looking to hire a self-motivated, energetic, fast learner to be an Operations Assistant Specialist and support the Chief Executive Officer. If you are not accountable, not organized, do not pay attention to details and aren’t used to being held accountable this job is not for you. This position will require a degree of  “herding cats” to track down personnel to accomplish task and ensuring action items are being accomplished. If you enjoy working in a team environment, used to working remotely, solution oriented and a creative problem solver with strong written and verbal communication skills that wants to help a company grow with a diverse environment read on.
 
Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Manage all deadlines for contract and in-house personnel
  2. Coordinate all aspects of project solicitations
  3. Assist with all aspects of project reporting and data analysis
  4. Coordinate and manage all aspects of employee onboarding, policies and procedures, and employee relations
  5. Assist CEO in all administrative tasks and projects
 
Skills
  1. Minimum 2 years working in government agency environment
  2. Preferred 2 years of Office Management experience
  3. Preferred 2 years of experience working in a remote environment
  4. Analytical and creative
  5. Excellent written and erbal communications
  6. Expert with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point and MS Office
  7. Detail oriented
  8. Follow up driven
  9. Time Management driven
  10. Professional writing skills
  11. Looking for efficiencies
  12. Technically savvy
  13. Knowledge of basic HR policies and procedures
  14. 5+ years of admin experience
  15. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree English, Communications, Liberal Arts, etc.
  16. Nice to have:
    1. Strong data analsis
    2. Experience with developing/managing proposals
