FosterThomas, a Mid-Atlantic Staffing and Recruiting Firm, is leading the search for a Senior DevOps Engineer for our Client. This position is available remotely.
Our client is seeking a Senior Devops Engineer to help us prepare a greenfield cloud data application for production. The application is a cloud data pipeline that processes Protected Healthcare Information, with dashboards. The application is being developed first on GCP and we use a number of cloud-native services, including Dataproc as a data science platform.
Responsibilities:
You will help us increase the maturity of our cloud development practice, including reproducible builds, continuous deployment, control planes for both operations and end users, implementation of security controls and auditing, multi tenancy, authentication and authorization, performance monitoring, metrics and analytics, and technical documentation. We are also interested in hybrid and multi-cloud.
Growth opportunities abound; this cloud infrastructure is the basis of our new healthcare product lines and a key strategic initiative.
