Video TeleConference Bridge Operator (VTC Bridge Operator)

FosterThomas, a Mid-Atlantic Staffing and Recruiting Firm, is leading the search for a Video TeleConference Bridge Operator (VTC Bridge Operator) for our Client located in Washington, DC.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Practical experience with Cisco TMS for scheduling, reserving, and managing VTC sessions
  • Process, book, and schedule VTC reservation requests using Cisco TMS
  • Manage and operate Cisco and Polycom MCUs; Cisco VCS Controllers, Expressways, and Gatekeepers
  • Provide and maintain accurate record keeping for reports on each VTC
  • Perform daily testing and preventive maintenance on core VTC components and systems
  • Perform and monitor user pre-conference testing and setup for videoconferences as required
  • Monitor VIP level VTC sessions to ensure endpoints are connected and to address and resolve issues/concerns as they arise
  • Answer and respond to phone calls for VTC support/assistance; providing Tier I/II level support as necessary
  • Test and register endpoints to the VTC Bridge creating templates
  • Maintain and update customer templates in TMS as necessary to ensure reliable connection information
  • Provide technical and operational guidance and direction to customers in establishing and operating video teleconferencing systems
  • Support after-hours VTC scheduling requirements as necessary and/or when directed
  • Provide training and assistance to new VTC Bridge personnel as necessary
  • Report VTC issues and concerns to leadership as the need arises 
Qualifications:
  • SECRET Clearance
  • Previous VTC operation experience highly preferred
  • Work hours are 9:00am-6:00pm
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to work in a stressful and very busy closed environment
  • Must be customer oriented and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction
