FosterThomas, a Mid-Atlantic Staffing and Recruiting Firm, is leading the search for a Technical Account Manager for our Client located in Tampa, FL.
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) will provide full time onsite warranty assistance and support associated with the operation and sustainment of USSOCOM’s end user devices (EUDs), with reach back and full access to Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) resources.
 
Responsibilities
  • Champion and oversee onsite installation of OEM hardware and configuration of software
  • Provide operational maintenance, and warranty support in accordance with OEM’s Warranty Terms of Service
  • Provide local and remote technical assistance through tools, online, chat, and phone
  • Coordinate delivery of system maintenance on entitled assets according to Customer maintenance window
  • Escalation Management
  • Facilitate technical training certification for hardware repair
  • Manage third party hardware and software collaborative assistance
  • Support access to technical support tips and enhanced online information
  • Perform health checks and systems maintenance
  • Support the Engineer Services Groups
  • Provides reporting and recommendations on eligible systems as
  • Conduct collaboration on behalf of the customer when necessary to solve technical or business
  • Act as a key player in critical situation management by being a single point of contact for issue
  • Conducts assessments aimed at improving operational efficiency when deemed necessary by OEM and the Customer
 
General Experience Requirements
The Functional Lead is responsible for supervising and directing the members of the task order, prioritizing their activities to meet to Governments project priorities; directing operations support, maintenance updates, and Projects and IMI as required.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of professional system engineering and software engineering. Microsoft certifications and hands on SCCM experience required.
  • Experience supporting the special operator field requirements or former special operator with require experience preferred.
 
Specialized Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of five (5) years current, professional level experience in managing, driving a team of highly skilled engineers from conceptual development through implementation of complex IT systems.
  • Minimum of five (5) years current, professional level experience in designing and implementing enterprise level systems and scalable solutions.
  • Specific experience working with/supporting and knowledge of United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) highly desired.
 
Education Requirements
B.A. or B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, Information Technology (or in progress) or equivalent experience with a focus on Microsoft Windows 10/SCCM or in a related field. 10 years specifically focused experience with increasing experience can be substituted for a B.A./B.S. degree.
 
Security Clearance Requirements
Active Top Secret clearance required. Candidate must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain higher clearances as required to include NATO, SCI, FGI, and Focal Point material.
