Jr. Solutions Engineer

About the Role
As the Jr Solutions Engineer, you are responsible for supporting day-to-day technical sales activities. The ideal candidate must have a strong desire and ability to learn both new and core technologies to help support the mission of Driving Application Performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for working directly with partners, federal agencies, and internal teams as a member of the technical sales team. The Jr. Solution Engineer will possess a technical background, be results driven, customer focused, and highly skilled at building relationships at all levels.

Responsibilities
  • Assist internal sales team with technical requests from customers
  • Build technical configurations to support sales requests
  • Assist with developing solution architecture that aligns to our current offerings and OEM partners
  • Assist with the design, implementation, and maintaining of lab
  • Help create solutions and approaches in response to customer RFPs and RFIs
  • Assist with the review and validation of project artifacts, solution designs, estimates and sizing data for quality, accuracy, completeness and adherence to the original requirements and design parameters
  • Obtain required OEM certifications as requested 
  • Provide input and current industry research in support of portfolio of solutions and customer opportunities
  • Provide team interaction to other architects and sales executives on industry technology trends

Requirements
 
  • 2+ year’s relevant experience or course work in supporting, designing and/or implementing technology infrastructure solutions to include physical, virtual, or cloud-based architectures
  • Good understanding of various Infrastructure technology disciplines such as - compute, cloud, virtualization, networking, storage, and cybersecurity technologies
  • Demonstrate the following traits/characteristics – humility, drive/initiative, accountability, team player spirit and overall genuine interest in information technology field
  • Hold various or have interest in pursuing expert level certifications with Cloud Service Providers, Cisco, VMware, Palo Alto, HPE, and/or other relevant OEM certifications
  • Attention to detail, exceptional communication skills and documentation experience are essential
  • The ability to obtain a security clearance may be required for this role
