Manages, plans, develops, implements, administers, and communicates benefit programs, including all health and welfare and retirement benefit plans.
Manages the overall benefit plan renewal process and recommend go-forward approach by proactively anticipating changes and needs of the marketplace, company, and employees by taking into consideration market research and cost analysis to ensure the benefit program remains competitive and financially sustainable.
Assists with internal and external audits and ensures internal compliance standards are met. Research legislative requirements and ensures compliance of the various employee benefit plans and programs.
Reviews, edits, and negotiates vendor contract agreement language, terms and performance guarantees, involving internal and/or external legal counsel as appropriate.
Develops, introduces, and communicates all benefit program implementations and changes to employees.
Responsible for the overall relationship with vendors, brokers and/or consultants.
