FosterThomas, Inc., a leading Human Capital Management firm, is looking for a part-time Human Resources Business Partner supporting corporate operations in Annapolis, MD office. The ideal candidate will be available for approximately 15-20 hours/week on a hybrid schedule. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will provide expertise on HR matters, employee relations, and organizational development. The HRBP collaborates with various stakeholders to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Responsibilities:
Employee Relations and Engagement:
Provide guidance on employee relations matters, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment.
Assist in the development and implementation of initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
Support the performance management processes.
Advise on goal setting, performance feedback, and career development.
Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Update policies and procedures as needed.
Provide backup benefits administration to include working knowledge of employee benefit plans, communicate with vendors, carriers and support for employees, as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
Several years of progressive experience in human resources, with a focus on HRBP or HR Generalist roles.
Strong knowledge and experience with employee relations matters.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business needs into HR initiatives.
Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
